At Shaolin Kung Fu of Asheville, we teach authentic Chinese Shaolin martial arts as passed down through our direct lineage to the misty history of the art. We strive to stay true to the 1,500 years of tradition, philosophy and technique that develops both the body and the mind. Our goal is to give our students access to this precious body of human knowledge, believing that it is as relevant today as it was to the Ch’an Buddhist monks living in the mountains of rural 6th Century China.
We passionately believe that Shaolin Kung Fu is the martial art against which all other martial arts are measured and are proud to be the only school and instructor in Western North Carolina certified by Master Sin Kwang The.
Classes are primarily held in the evenings at our school at 619A Haywood Road in West Asheville. Kids (12 and Under) and adults study separately, as do those in different sash categories. Adults are welcome to experience what we offer through our Free Class on any Adult Class Monday-Thursday, while Kids can enjoy a Free Classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. Show up early!
